Cann Bridge School is seeking an exceptional EYFS Leader to join our dedicated team. Our school provides a nurturing, inclusive environment where every learner is supported to thrive. As the EYFS Leader, you will have the opportunity to lead and develop a high-quality, inclusive EYFS curriculum tailored to the unique needs of each child. You will manage a team of passionate support staff, collaborate with parents and external agencies, and drive improvements to ensure the best possible outcomes for our youngest learners. Key Responsibilities:

  • Fulfil the professional responsibilities of a teacher, as set out in the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions document
  • Meet the expectations set out in the Teachers’ Standards
  • Lead by example through exceptional teaching and leadership

Take lead responsibility for the EYFS to secure:

  • The development and implementation of the EYFS curriculum
  • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of EYFS provision
  • Managing a team of EYFS staff, providing guidance and professional development
  • Fostering a supportive, creative, and inclusive learning environment
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and best practices
  • Planning and delivering high-quality, adaptive lessons to learners with severe learning difficulties

Qualifications and Experience:

  • QTS or equivalent, with recent EYFS training
  • Relevant Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
  • Proven experience in leading EYFS settings and/or special education
  • A passion for working with children with SEND
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and support a team
