Early Years Practitioner

Job type: - Full time - 2 term temporary with view to extending Salary grade: Pay negotiable depending on qualifications/grading

Job start: January 2024

A fantastic opportunity has become available at Compton CofE Primary School. We are seeking to appoint a full time Early Years Practitioner, to join our wonderful school and become a member of our excellent Early Years Foundation Stage team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard working individual who is passionate about working with children within the Early Years. The successful practitioner will work effectively and be supported by a strong EYFS team. They must be committed to supporting children to 'live life in all its fullness'.

Duties will include:

• Preparing and maintaining environments to meet the needs of the children within their care. Supporting children within their play and be part of planning their next steps.
• Supporting children's development within the early years
• Have an awareness of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Statutory Framework Adhere to all safeguarding practices
• Preparing snacks and supporting children with their intimate care needs (where necessary).
