High Street Primary Academy, Reach South Academy Trust are seeking to appoint an exceptional Teaching Assistant to join the School in September 2020 

Post: Teaching Assistant and Breakfast Club Lead        

Salary Range: Grade C £18,795 rising to £19,554 per annum pro rata     

Hours/Contract: 30 hours per week (8:00-15:00), term time, permanent          contract

The Role: We are a small and improving school and welcome team players who are willing to go the extra mile to ensure our pupils get the best education possible. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed teaching assistant, passionate about supporting learning, and keen to be involved in all aspects of a busy class including supporting a child with additional needs. This role may require some 1:1 work.

The Person: Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a particular interest in SEND, or maybe you are a recent graduate looking for further school based experience before embarking on Teacher training, or are a qualified teacher looking for a new challenge. If so, we’d love to hear from you. We are particularly interested to hear from candidates who have sports qualifications and are able to lead sports activities.

School Background: High Street Primary School is a popular and successful primary school. We were founded in 1894 and we have a great history. There is a strong family atmosphere in our school, the children feel safe and cared for.
