HR Administrator

This is an exciting opportunity to join Ivybridge Community College and Westcountry Schools Trust. We are a dynamic organisation with our students and staff at our heart. Based at Ivybridge College the HR Administrator will be working in a fast-paced environment undertaking the full range of contractual administrative and payroll/pension-related tasks. The post holder will be the first point of contact for contractual and payroll queries, liaising with our payroll/pension providers and acting as the lead administrator for College recruitment, selection and onboarding.  The HR Administrator will work to the College HR Advisor and provide a range of employee related administration including updating and maintaining employee records. Stakeholder management is key and there will be a high level of interaction with staff at all levels across the range of duties.

You should be CIPD qualified to at least Level 3 or have demonstrable equivalent evidence of providing advice and guidance to managers and/or customers on people-related issues.  You will be a strong team player with the ability to work on your own initiative and make judgements within the boundaries of the role to meet changing demands.  You will have excellent standards of communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to quickly develop successful working partnerships.
